A long time ago, in a galaxy pretty close by...

...a CD by day and Star Wars loving Painter by night, decided to help fund the family vacations for his two children to places like Disneyland & Legoland, both spendy propositions, by selling off some of his paintings to fellow fans of The Force. Secretly his son and daughter are hoping for their father's shop to be a complete failure so they can claim the artwork for their own.

This year I also got a bit overzealous and decided to make a crystal Darth Vader helmet I could wear with my tux on Halloween.  Started off as what I thought would be a small project, turned in to a very large, relatively expensive, project.  There's over 15,000 Swarovski Crystals glue individually by hand - saying that out loud makes me realize how crazy I may be. And now I occasionally make random “How To” videos as Diamond Darth Vader, much to the delight and embarrassment of my 10-year-old son.

And when the Easter holiday nears, I spend the late evenings and probably more than the normal amount of time a person should engage in painting easter eggs for my kids, nephew and nieces for the Great Easter Egg Search & Rescue.
